179 locations were nominated in this year’s Swiss Location Award® in the category «congress venues». Of these, 14 locations received the «outstanding» seal of quality (9+ points), 25 locations received the «excellent» seal of quality (8+ points) and 2 locations received the «recommended» seal of quality (7.7+ points) and are thus officially among the «best congress venues in Switzerland».
For a hotel, conference location or congress center to make it into the «best congress venues in Switzerland» in the Swiss Location Award 2024, it would need to have a comprehensive congress infrastructure, a larger main hall and smaller adjoining rooms for workshops and breakouts, and thus be optimally suited for medium-sized and larger congresses, conferences and corporate events lasting one or more days.
